Yes! We did it again. The dinner event at Ronald McDonald House – Ann Arbor on August 26th 2016 was a great success.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor provides temporary and inexpensive housing for families whose children are being treated at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Needless to say, in those difficult times, patients’ families have greater concerns on their minds than dinner plans. That is why Ronald McDonald House counts on individuals and organizations who can donate their time and effort to bring a warm meal to the table for their residents.
Once again, Interpreter Services stepped forward as a team and offered a helping hand to those people in need. Oksana Moceri, our Russian Interpreter, who organized this event, would like to thank every single one of you for the instant responses she received with suggestions of monetary contribution and priceless donation of time to make this dinner a success. She would also like to express a deep gratitude on behalf of Ronald McDonald House staff and guests; their touching words of appreciation, “thank you” note, and smiles of their young occupants made our hearts tremble.
Giving back to our community is a wonderful gesture of a good will, compassion and appreciation. Let’s make it our good tradition to share our positive outlook on life with those who can greatly benefit from it! We are Interpreter Services- and “We Make a Difference!”
